Antarctic Animal Life
The Antarctic is made up mostly of marine mammals and penguins. Seals and an assortment of whales have think blubber. The leopard seal has sharp teeth to catch swimming penguins and rip flesh. Penguins have fat layers and tightly packed feathers to retain heat. The feathers look like scales, and produce an oily substance to repel water.
